Department of Crop Protection in Ministry of agriculture Animal Industry and Fisheries

UNADA works closely with the department of crop protection (MAAIF) to disseminate and sensitize agro-input dealers on the laws governing the agro-input sub-sector. Specifically, they are involved in training agro-dealers in the safe use and handling of agrochemicals, Inspection of agro-dealer premises/ products in order to ensure quality standards and safety for farmers and users.
MAAIF is pivotal in the certification and registration of agro-dealers in the country.
