Faculty of Agriculture Makerere University

The Crop Science Department of the Makerere Faculty of Agriculture has been mandated by the Agro Chemicals Control Board to administer the exams for certification of agrochemical dealers.  UNADA collaborates closely with the Crop Science department in terms of curriculum development and certification training on “Judicious Safe Use and Handling of Pesticides”.  This course is the pre-qualification training for agro-dealers’ official licensing with MAAIF.  UNADA handles the mobilization and logistics. Crop-Life Uganda provides the trainers while MUK reserves the role of examining and awarding certificates.
