Project Objectives

  • To increase the resilience and create equitable participation of Northern Uganda in the economic development of the country.
  • To support 30 input dealers in the districts of Arua, Nebbi, and Zombo and also to increase the sale of agricultural inputs by at least 25% by 2017

  • A survey was conducted, 30 Agro dealers identified, assessed, and selected
  • 30 agro dealers trained in Business management
  • 30 agro dealers trained in New product knowledge
  • 30 agro dealers supported in the marketing activities.
  • 30 agro dealers Trained in safe use handling of agrochemicals and agro-dealers premise inspection
  • 30 agro dealers Supported to engage in produce buying
  • The capacity of the UNADA regional structure in West Nile was Built
  • 30 assisted to apply for MAAIF registration and licensing for premises and Operation
  • Monitoring visits and NURI project appraisal exercise
  • Networking with other stakeholders, institutions, and organizations
  • Coordination meetings among Implementing Partners
  • Increasing the membership of UNADA in West Nile
